After bookings for all partners have been confirmed (these bookings are booked successfully in Haoqiao’s system), Haoqiao will provide 7*24h full service for the bookings.
In case of unavailable room after confirmation, the after-sales assurance plan will be strictly implemented, and the commitments are as follows:
1. Service Assurance Scheme for Overbooking (Before check in):

Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 100% of the first night’s rate of the original booking and there is no extra compensation. Other situations Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30% of the first night’s rate of the original booking and there is no extra compensation. Scheme II: The original hotel is unable to honor this booking, Haoqiao will be responsible for relocating the guests at the same or higher level in the same area. The intervals between created date and check-in date are equal to 7 days or more,while the intervals between notification date and check-in date are equal to 5 days or less. Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 100% of the first night’s rate of the original booking. Other situations Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30 % of the first night’s rate of the original booking. Scheme III: The guests book other hotel instead of accepting the alternative hotel provided by Haoqiao. The intervals between created date and check-in date are equal to 7 days or more,while the intervals between notification date and check-in date are equal to 5 days or less. On the premise that the customer provides valid voucher (invoice and receipt) of self-choice hotel, Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 100% of the first night’s rate of the original booking. Other situations On the premise that the customer provides valid voucher (invoice and bank receipt) of self-choice hotel, Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30% of the first night’s rate of the original booking. Scheme IV: If Haoqiao.com fails to provide the above-mentioned service scheme. Haoqiao will compensate 100% of the first night’s rate of the original booking directly. Other situations Haoqiao will compensate 30% of the first night’s rate of the original booking directly.(1)
If the original rooms of the original hotel are fully-booked or cannot be confirmed as original for other reasons, they shall be upgraded, and the price difference shall be covered by haoqiao as following policy:If the intervals between created date and check-in date are equal to 7 days or more,while the intervals between notification date and check-in date are equal to 5 days or less, Haoqiao will cover the price difference of upgraded room rate no more than 100% of the first night’s rate of the original booking; In other cases, Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30 % of the first night’s rate of the original booking. If the guests don’t accept the upgraded room in the original hotel, Haoqiao will apply to cancel this booking for free, however the result of cancellation request will not be guaranteed, and there is no extra compensation.(2)
If the original hotel is unable to honor this booking, Haoqiao will be responsible for relocating the guests at the same or higher level in the same area, and cover the price difference as the following policy: If the intervals between created date and check-in date are equal to 7 days or more,while the intervalsbetween notification date and check-in date are equal to 5 days or less,Haoqiao will cover the price difference of upgraded room rate no more than 100% of the first night’s rate of the original booking; In other cases, Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30 % of the first night’s rate of the original booking.(3)
If hotels with the same level or higher level cannot be arranged due to regional restrictions, the low-level hotel shall be arranged ("low level" means that the price of the new hotel is lower than that of the original booking). If the guests accept the alternative hotel, Haoqiao will refund the price difference of the room rate to the guests after checking out, the currency will be settled according to the relevant cooperation agreement signed by the two parties. (the price difference refers to the difference between the original booking price and the actual price upon check-in).(4)
If the guests do not accept the solutions proposed by Haoqiao, Haoqiao will cancel the original booking for free; the customer shall provide the valid voucher (invoice, receipt, etc.) of the self-choice hotel, and Haoqiao will calculate the price difference according to the price recorded on the relevant vouchers and provide compensation to the customer in accordance with this clause. If the intervals between created date and check-in date are equal to 7 days or more,while the intervals between notification date and check-in date are equal to 5 days or less, Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30 % of the first night’s rate of the original booking; In other cases, Haoqiao will cover the price difference no more than 30 % of the first night’s rate of the original booking.(5)
With respect to the compensation expense, the customer shall provide the guests’ self-choice hotel voucher (invoice, receipt, etc.) to apply for compensation. All shall be submitted to Haoqiao within 2 weeks after departure. The actual time of being receiving by Haoqiao shall prevail. No submission before the expiration date will be treated as abandoning the rights of service assurance.(6)
"The intervals between created date and check-in date are equal to 7 days or more" and "the intervals between notification date and check-in date are equal to 5 days or less" mentioned in this clause are calculated by natural days intervals, instead of 24 hours per day.(7)
The "first night’s rate of the original booking" and "the room rate of the original booking" mentioned in this clause refer to the booking settlement price of the hotel between the customer and Haoqiao, which is not based on the original payable amount by the guests or the original sales amount by the customers.
2. Service Assurance Scheme for Overbooking When Arriving at The Hotel:
Processing methods Compensation amount Scheme I: Haoqiao shall coordinate with the hotel at once and try to arrange the guests to check in as original booking. — — Scheme II: Haoqiao shall arrange higher level room of the original hotel for guests. Haoqiao will cover the price difference of upgraded room, with the first night room rate of the original booking as the upper limit. If the guests don’t accept the upgraded room in the original hotel, Haoqiao will apply to cancel this booking for free, however the result of cancellation request will not be guaranteed, and there is no extra compensation. Scheme III: If the original hotel fails to arrange the check-in, Haoqiao will be responsible for recommending the same or higher level hotels. Haoqiao will cover the price difference of changing room, with the first night room rate of the original booking as the upper limit. Scheme IV: If hotels at the same or higher level cannot be arranged due to other reasons, the lower-level hotel shall be arranged for guests upon their consent. Haoqiao will refund the price difference between the original booking price and the actual price of the new hotel. Scheme V: The guests book other hotels instead of accepting the alternative hotel provided by Haoqiao. Haoqiao will refund the original booking and cover the price difference between the original booking and the new hotel as the receipt the clients provide. But the price difference will be no more than the first night room rate of the original booking. Scheme VI: Haoqiao cannot provide any schemes. Haoqiao will refund the original booking and provide the first night room rate of the original booking as compensation directly.(1)
Haoqiao shall respond immediately after being notified that there is no available room in the hotel.(2)
If the original rooms are fully booked or cannot be confirmed due to other reasons, Haoqiao will be responsible for upgrading them and cover the price difference no more than the first night’s room rate of the original booking.If the guests don’t accept the upgraded room in the original hotel, Haoqiao will apply to cancel this booking for free, however the result of cancellation request will not be guaranteed, and there is no extra compensation.(3)
If there are unavailbale rooms in this original hotel, Haoqiao will provide alternative hotels at the same or higher level and cover the price difference no more than the first night’s room rate of the original booking.Besides, Haoqiao will be responsible for one-way transportation expense from the original hotel to the new hotel.(4)
If hotels with the same level or higher level cannot be arranged due to regional restrictions, the low-level hotel shall be arranged ("low level" means that the price of the new hotel is lower than that of the original booking). If the guests accept the alternative hotel, Haoqiao will refund the price difference of the room rate to the guests after checking out, the currency will be settled according to the relevant cooperation agreement, which is signed by the two parties. (the price difference refers to the difference between the original booking price and the actual price upon check-in).(5)
If the guests do not accept the solutions proposed by Haoqiao. Haoqiao will cancel the booking for free. While the customer provide the valid voucher (invoice, receipt, etc.) of the new hotels which the guests book by themselves,Haoqiao will cover the price difference between the orginal booking and the price on the voucher no more than the first night’s room rate of the original booking. Besides, Haoqiao will be responsible for one time transportation expense from the original hotel to the new hotel.(6)
The customer shall provide the valid voucher for compensation. All vouchers should be submitted to Haoqiao within 2 weeks after the guests checking out,about the arrival time of documents, the actual time of being receiving by Haoqiao shall prevail. No submission before the expiration date will be treated as abandoning the rights of service assurance.(7)
The "the first night room rate of the original booking" and "the original booking price" mentioned above refer to the booking settlement price of the hotel between the customer and Haoqiao, which is not based on the original payment amount by the guests or the original sales amount by the customers.
3. Several Cases Beyond the Scope of Compensation Service Assurance:(1)
Haoqiao has informed the customers to verify duplicate booking/corporate guest/blacklist guest/group bookings after booking successfully, or the distribution policy(such as, Ctrip, Taobao, Qunar) which has been violated obviously. (The hotel distribution policy is indicated on the page of reservation information, conditions, terms, attention and other relevant announcement of Haoqiao.(2)
Changes of check-in date, check-out date ,the amount of guests and room type are not confirmed by Haoqiao.(3)
The guests cannot be accommodated by the hotel due to force majeure or other uncontrollable reasons, such as natural disaster, emergency and requisition by government.(4)
The guests do not check in, or do not provide true and valid voucher, or the guests’ name, city, check-in/out date are inconsistent with the original booking.
Regarding the booking,which has been confirmed by Haoqiao but cannot be arranged as original by the hotel when checking in, if the guests don’t contact with Haoqiao and take measures by themselves, it will be treated as abandoning the rights of service assurance.(2)
The booking whose cancellation policy is non-refundable should be implemented as per the policy; if the guests cannot check in on time because of the force majeure, they should contact with Haoqiao before the check-in date and provide relevant evidential document. Haoqiao will send this request to the supplier/hotel, however, the results are not guaranteed; The booking whose cancellation policy is refundable, if there are some changes requests, please cancel this booking within free cancellation period and re-book a new one.(3)
If the guests cannot be accommodated by the hotel due to force majeure or other uncontrollable reasons, such as natural disaster, emergency and requisition by government, the guests should provide relevant evidential document. Haoqiao will send this request to the supplier/hotel, however, the results are not guaranteed.(4)
If the guests would like cancel the booking after free cancellation period, Haoqiao will charge for/deduct corresponding cancellation fee as per cancellation policy.(5)
If the guests contact with the hotel directly for some information changes instead of contacting Haoqiao, in this case, any emergencies or losses occur, Haoqiao will not be liable to compensate, take any responsibility or adverse consequence.(6)
If the hotel charges for what is included in this booking, the guests can contact with the Haoqiao directly and provide valid receipt(invoice), Haoqiao will deal with this case at once. The hotel will refund this charge directly to the guests as the first choice, Haoqiao will refund the to the guests if the hotel fails.(7)
If the guests cannot check in because the nationality of the guests or other identity information does not match with the information on voucher, in this case, any losses occur, Haoqiao will not be liable to compensate, take any responsibility and adverse consequence.(8)
If the guests are not satisfied with the hotel they booked and request to change hotel, they can contact with Haoqiao through the customers, Haoqiao will recommend the hotel nearby within the range of it’s ability, but the room rate which has been paid cannot be refunded, and the room rate of the new reservation will be paid by the guests.(9)
If the guests request to extra service which is not included in this booking, such as extra meal, extra bed. The guests can apply for Haoqiao’s supports through the customers, Haoqiao has rights to choose whether to provide help and communicate with the hotel for corresponding service, but the charges which are not included in this booking should be paid to the hotel directly by the guests.(10)
Complains will be handled within 2-10 working days after receiving the application. Please submit the complains to Haoqiao within 30 days after checking in, overdue complains will not be accepted and handled.(11)
Regarding the compensation application which Haoqiao has verified and confirmed with the customers, Haoqiao will not receive any compensation changes or secondary compensation for any other reasons, all compensation amount of Haoqiao will not exceed the corresponding compensation standard.(12)
The sufficient supporting documents involving compensation refers to the credit card bill or the voucher of the new hotel, which can prove the guests have paid and checked in already. The document should be indicated with guest name, hotel name and details of the guests(check-in date and check-out date), amount of payment and other significant elements.(13)

We reserve the service expense as compensation for the travel booking service provided for you. Our service expense varies according to the amount and type of hotel bookings.
Haoqiao.com is not a joint supplier to whom we book travel arrangements for our customers. The taxability and corresponding tax rates vary greatly from region to region.
Sales tax, occupancy tax and / or local hotel occupancy tax will be levied based on the expenses (concerning facilities and / or services) we charge for providing services in specific jurisdictions. For example, when checking in a hotel in New York State (excluding New York City), the above-mentioned collection of taxes shall include the tax on room rentals received by the hotel, other than the local hotel occupancy tax incurred by our service. The actual tax amount for our services may vary depending on the effective tax rate when you check in the hotel.
2. Prepaid Hotel Bookings
We reserve the right to change the prices displayed on the website without notice.
Even if we have confirmed your booking and accepted the payment, we still reserve the right to cancel and refund your payment.
You can cancel or change your prepaid hotel booking, but you need to pay the cancellation or change expense charged by the hotel. During peak season, most hotels are not allowed to cancel or change, and all booked rooms and prepaid funds will not be refunded or returned.
Even if we have confirmed your booking and accepted the payment, the room you need may not available due to overbooking. In such cases, the hotel has the right to provide another hotel at the same level for you to check in.
We will try to avoid the above cases but not provide guarantee. We will assist the hotel in arranging alternative accommodation for you in the event of similar cases.
Please note that the cancellation policy at the time of reservation only supports full cancellation. If you need to change your check-in date or cancel a partial reservation, please submit your request in order management or contact our customer service staff. We will try to negotiate with the hotel / supplier to meet your requirements, but the hotel / supplier may not accept the request for modification, or may charge you a certain fee.
You cannot book more than 5 rooms online at the same hotel / same check-in date. If we confirm that you have booked more than 5 rooms in one order, we will cancel your booking and charge you for cancellation fee (if applicable). If you have paid the non-refundable deposit, your deposit will be confiscated.
All the requirements for rooms depend on the room conditions when registering in and checking in the hotel because we cannot guarantee it unless it is explicitly mentioned in writing.
You agree to abide by the relevant clauses of your prepaid booking hotel.
In any event, our compensation or refund will not exceed your payment to www.haoqiao.com or the hotel expense.
Under this agreement, in the event you choose to pay with credit card for goods and/or services purchased, the payment will be processed via a Hong Kong Acquirer. Haoqiao.com will display the cancellation policy in the booking process and the reservation form. According to the hotel and supplier policies, our cancellation policies are divided into three categories: "free cancellation within limited time", "charge cancellation" and "non-cancellation".

Usually, there are several solutions as follows: 1) To arrange original hotel and room type as the booking is the first preferential solution. 2) If the original room type is fully booked in the original hotel, haoqiao.com will undertake the difference for the guests to arrange upgraded room in the original hotel, and no compensation. If the guest does not agree with the room type upgrading in the original hotel, we will apply for cancellation of the original booking for free. The result is subject to the supplier's reply without compensation. 3) If the original hotel does not have original room type, but have downgrade room type, under the circumstance that the guest agrees to move into downgrade room type, haoqiao.com will return the difference between downgrade room type and original room type, do not compensate. 4) If the guest does not agree to stay in downgraded room in the original hotel, or the original hotel can not coordinate out of the room, haoqiao.com will recommend the same level or higher-level hotel in the same area, and haoqiao.com will undertake the price difference between the alternative hotel and the original hotel, if the guest agreed to stay in alternative hotel, no compensation. 5) If the guest does not agree to stay in downgraded room in the original hotel, and also does not agree to stay in the alternative hotel, haoqiao.com will cancel the original order for you free of charge and compensate according to the service assurance policy.
14. What’s the consequence if the guest No show or didn’t cancel the booking before check in date.
If you will not or late arrive at the hotel on the first night (No show ), please contact haoqiao.com or the hotel to apply for canceling the booking or keep a room for you. Otherwise, the hotel has the right to cancel the booking without refund.
15. How to deal with the situation that our client was charged by hotel?
The hotel will use the pre-authorization as deposit when the guest checks in, and the fee will be fully refunded to the guest's account without any extra consumption when the guest leaves the hotel. The time of the payment arrival is about 2-4 weeks. If the guest's credit card bill shows the consumption in the account, please provide the voucher (bill), and we will help to verify the expense with the hotel.
